Galerie Peter Gaugy is pleased to present Weaving Time: Gender, Labor, and Disrupted Chronologies, an exhibition curated by Deniz Güvensoy for Vienna Art Week. Bringing together four artists, Weaving Time examines alternative, non-linear perceptions of time that resist the modernist trajectory focused on progress and capital accumulation. Through themes of memory, care, and the often-invisible labor associated with gendered experiences, each artist offers a distinct view into how time is woven into the body, mind, and social constructs of our lives.

Fabrikraum Collaboration: Showcasing Vienna’s Independent Art Scene
As part of this exhibition, Galerie Peter Gaugy is collaborating with Fabrikraum Kunstverein, an independent art space and cultural cornerstone of Vienna’s experimental art landscape. With over 75 independent art spaces, Vienna fosters a rich environment for emerging artists and innovative projects. By working with Deniz, a curator from our neighboring Fabrikraum, we aim to encourage partnerships that bridge established galleries and independent spaces—creating a dynamic platform for contemporary art.
